Hey all!

My name is Richard. If I had to put myself in a box with a label, I guess you could say I’m a creative with a strong problem-solving mind.  I finished high school with a background in science and maths which I really enjoyed and performed really well but I’d always felt that something was missing from my life and education. Throughout high school, I had always had an interest in painting and the arts as well as a great passion for games such as Diablo, Quake, Warcraft, Baldur’s Gate to name a few. One day I stumbled upon the wonderful world of conceptart.org and the Gnomon Workshop and looking at some of the work on those websites lead me to believe that I could potentially pursue a career in game development and the confidence that I would pick up the necessary skills along the way.

So in a nutshell, here I am, still curious about the world and the future, still on my personal journey, learning things as I go.  I hope to post more things here which may be of use to people in their own journey to achieve their dreams.
